Our 3-day gastronomy package is a perfect way to experience this region’s culinary delights while combining its central location with many optional pre-and-post segments to your European journey which can be seamlessly coordinated by rail.

Itiniary Summary
Day 1: Lugano Arrival – We recommend using train transportation. Upon a lunchtime arrival, check-in to your centrally located 5-star hotel for 2 nights. Included in your package is a Ticino Ticket allowing for free public transportation to the entire Canton of Ticino. It’s the easiest and most convenient way to get-around and all the locals use it. Later in the afternoon (3:00 PM) meet your local guide in front of the Cultural Center and enjoy a short 30-minute introduction to the city before crossing Lake Lugano by boat. Upon arrival at a local restaurant, enjoy an aperitif before taking part in a fun Risotto Workshop Experience. Return by boat to your hotel.
Day 2: Locarno / Ascona - Today we take your Ticinese gastronomic experience a step further, with our Lugano food and wine tour. Enjoy a guided tour around the historical city of Lugano, making several stops en route to sample several regional specialties, washed down with a Ticinese Merlot of course.
Day 3: Locarno and Surroundings - Your morning is free to explore other parts of the region with your Ticino Ticket. Connecting travel arrangements to and from Lugano can be tailored to suit your interests. Of course, this is where we can assist you with planning for your next leg of your itinerary.
